PoLC Update (Big Week)

This has been a big week in PoLC. Here are some of the highlights:
- Buffing Rules: Our three week trial has come to a successful close. Based on how the trial went, we will continue with these new buffing rules. Buffs are to be requested via PM. Official Guild Buffers will continue to provide buffs to those who ask. There will no longer be an unofficial buffers list as this is redundant. All other players offering buffs should post in guild chat with their buffs and requirements (or list them in bio). Responses to these posts should not be in guild chat, but via PM. For exceptions, please review the Guild Buffs page.
- Super Elite Hunting: Thanks to moorlord and others who ran our recent tests to see how successful we could be as a guild at hunting Super Elites. It was a successful night of testing. With 5 hits and 2 drops, the SE hunting groups came away with a 66 FSP guild profit!!! This is only the beginning of our foray into the Super Elite arena. Cheers!

Site Updates

The following site pages/features have been updated:
- PvP rules have been added to the Guild Policy page. These rules have been in place but needed to be articulated more clearly here.
- The "On Vacation" rank is now explained in the Rankings and Rewards page.
- An Unofficial Guild buffers list has been added to the menu on the left for easier access.

- Due to escalations in tensions between our alliance and TTG, war has broken out. Some members of TTG were not fond of the direction of their guild in the midst of these fights. Under difficult circumstances, some of these members have joined PoLC.

New Guild Buffing Rules

(Affective for a 3 week trial beginning 00:00 March 1 2008 (Server Time))
The new rules and regulations for buffing are as follows:
Official Buffers have been put in place. These members have no rank or level restrictions on their buffs. They will buff on request, all available buffs they have to any member of PoLC. They can refuse on the grounds of low personal stamina, or advise if they believe you do not need what you ask for (eg. asking for damage buffs when they can see you are one-hitting).
To request buffs you will now:
1. Check the official buffer list to see who is online.
2. PM for your required buffs (all buffers online can be PMed to ensure you get what you need!).
You will not post them on guild chata nd you must be exact on your requirements! "Buff me please" is not accetable!
POSTING ON GUILD CHAT WILL BE CONSIDERED BEGGING!!!
