I. Buffs (See "Buffing Rules" page )
II. Deposits
- Deposits
into the guild bank are not required by guild members. It is only right
that you would do this inorder to pay for the upkeep of the guild structures
and possibly the purchasing of FSPs for the guild for contests or even guild
upgrades.
- FSP
Deposits are not required either, however we can not upgrade without these
deposits being made.
III. Guild Storage
- The Founder, Co-founder(s), Guardian of Virtuous Lore, and Guardian of Honor can recall tagged items.
- Members of rank "Knighted Lord" and above may remove items from guild storage on their own.
- We do not store items which are valued at 1 FSP or 100,000 gold or less. Exceptions include legendary items. If you have a question about an item, please ask one of our Virtuous Merchants.
- Any upgrades performed on tagged items must be reported either via the forums or to a guild leader.
- Any items recalled should be checked against the player owned item list.
- Any newly tagged items should be added to the databse immediately by the person who tags the item.
IV. Behavior
- As
a member of our guild you are required to carry yourself in a lordly manner,
this means that should you think that something you are doing or are about to
do is questionable to you or you think that other members would question it,
then don’t do it as this is most likely not lordly behavior.
- Cursing
on guild chat is not recommended, should you do so and be corrected for it by
any guild member be respectful and do not continue to do this, this rule is
here as we do not know the ages of all of our members and we like to keep the
guild chat clean of profane words.
- Begging…
We are lordly, we do not beg for anything, Money, FSP, Buffs, or anything
else. We just don’t do it. If this is done you will find yourself
as a serf until it is decided that you have learned not to do so any longer.
- Harassment
is not tolerated. Those being found guilty by the Council members will be
moved to become a resident of the dungeon until proper apologies have been
made.
- Sexual Harassment is not tolerated by
PoLC, or HCS, if you are engaging with someone in a manner that is considered
Sexual Harassment you will be removed from our guild and we will submit a
support ticket to HCS to let them know
of a potential player problem.
V. PvP
- Members are permitted to engage in PvP with a few exceptions.
- PvP for the sake of ratings climbing is not considered lordly as is not allowed. If a member seeks a higher PvP rating for the sake of a particular quest, he or she should contact a guild leader if help is needed to raise the PvP rating (PvP for gold is also not allowed but in special circumstances, see Guild Fighters page for details.)
- PvP against 'defenseless' players is not lordly and is not allowed. Inactive players are considered defenseless because they have no opportunity to respond. We believe PvP is meant to be interactive and not a sport of poaching.
- Members may not attack allies or NAP members.
- Any members participating in PvP outside of guild sanctioned events (such as group hits or wars) are responsible for themselves in the matter. That is, they are not eligible for alliance or guild protection from bounties and the natural flow of PvP. (Exceptions may include instances of 100 stam hits).
- Members may participate in bounty hunting, but are likewise responsible for any repercutions unless the bounties handled are a guild/alliance matter. If a counter bounty is placed, please contact guild leadership to have it cleared.
- If a PoLC member is attacked by another player, they should favor diplomacy over the sword.
- If the loss is insignificant, the member is encouraged to let the incident go as PvP is a part of the game. The member may request the gold to be returned.
- If the loss is significant or the offending player is rude, taunting or otherwise malevolent, the matter should be reported to guild leaders before any other action is to be taken. Reports may be made through Guild Chat or posted on the Attacks forum. The result may will vary as such:
- If the offense is considered significant upon review, the leaders may authorize a guild sanctioned PvP event or hit. Such an event would include a bounty being placed on the offending player, with PoLC and Allied members requested to participate. Any repercutions from these sanctioned attacks will likewise be defended by PoLC and its allies.
- If the offense is considered moderate, but not worthy of official guild response, the affected member may be encouraged to either let the matter go or be willing to accept responsibility for any repercutions from bounty placement or bounty participation. Bounties not sanctioned by the guild will not be advertized by the guild nor will alliance assistence be requested.
- If the offense is considered insignificant, the affected member will be strongly encouraged to let the matter go.
