Lost Brother - May 9, 2009

A Sad Day for PoLC It is with a heavy heart that we share some tragic news. Our Great Hippo of Magickalness, Eludain, is gone forever. Dan Huang, as he is known outside of FallenSword, lost the battle he was fighting with a serious infectious illness over the past few weeks, and passed away on Saturday, May 9th.
Eludain was a Co-Founder, a mentor, a leader, and a friend to all in PoLC. He maintained the guild website, wrote the "Hippo's Equipment Guide", and was an anchor for the guild in good times & bad. His presence in the guild halls & inspirational "Lordliness" will be sorely missed.
Dan was working on his PhD and in the process of relocating his family when the illness struck. A loving husband & father, Dan is survived by his wife, Maureen (aka Amdiriel) and 2 young children. Our deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers go out to Maureen and her family. There is no way to fully express our sorrow for their loss.
Dan (Eludain) will be missed & he will forever be in our memories. May he rest in peace.
Godspeed dear hippo friend on your final journey.

The Results Are In...
The guild voting for the new council positions have come to a close, and your decision has been made.
The People of Lordly Calibur do hereby elect & welcome Hugemedic & Three2One to the Guild Council. Congratulations to both of you.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the other candidates who stepped forward. Your dedication & commitment to PoLC is appreciated. Your new Council will be making several appointments over the next few days, and we hope we can count on your continuing support to keep PoLC as the best guild in FallenSword.
Thank you to everyone for taking the time to vote and making your voices heard. I know this has been an eventful time for us at PoLC. Today is the dawning of a new day, and with fresh faces within the council, PoLC will continue to rise above.
